During the process the natural stems and branches of the poplar tree are ground steamed then pressed into fibres … without any chemical or oil based additives used in the process. So no pollutants are emitted in manufacturing. No chemicals or toxic gluing agents are used. In comparison …. many other whiteboards use a backing sheet manufactured with either a MDF or particleboard backing which use toxic formaldehyde.
